Pepper and James Mouser served as judges for the 2012 Cake Baking
Contest. Cakes were judged on presentation, texture and taste.
According to Dee Woodward who coordinated this
event, the cakes were auctioned following the judging and the proceeds
($750) went to the Fayette Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry.

Cake Baking Contest - 2011
The Third Annual Festival of the Arts saw a return of the art of cake baking and decorating. Cakes were judged on presentation, texture and taste. Judges were KMIZ channel 17’s morning news anchor, Lauren Gores ; morning weather caster, Neville Miller; and Fayette’s well known art teacher, Ann Schafer.
